JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop piping design routing utilizing SmartPlant (SP3D).
- Should be strong enough to perform the modelling of all the disciplines in SP3D.
- Must have ability to extract and develop drawings/ documents for general arrangement and piping isometrics drawings in SmartPlant for fabrication.
- Ability to prepare Piping plan drawing and isometric drawing utilizing AutoCAD with good drafting skill.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret common technical information, reports and instructions.
- Ability to interpret and convert the hand sketches into Piping plan drawings and isometric drawing (with Material list) with proper scale and annotation for submission.
- Prepare and check drawings before submission with accuracy and comply with project standards.
- Must be able to perform task with minimal guidance or supervision.
Requirements:
- ITE or Diploma in Engineering with Piping Design or equivalent.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and SP3D.
- Minimum 3 years of SP3D modeling experience.
- Minimum 4 years of AutoCAD experience.
- 4-5 years of experience in Piping engineering design involving preparation of piping layout, piping plan drawings and isometric drawings using latest AutoCAD and SP3D.
- Previous work experience in the Oil and Gas Industry is preferred.
