JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description:
- Reports to QS Manager.
- Quantity measurement of the following trades:
- Structural works.
- Piping works.
- Electrical and instrumentation works.
- Mechanical and equipment works.
- Painting works.
- Reconcile MTO with the client.
- Monitor changes on-site with production teams. It could be identified in the followings:
- Design drawing changes.
- Site instruction from Client.
- Job Confirmation Sheet from client.
- Identification of Changes (IOC) from Production Team.
- Confirmation of Verbal Instruction (COVI) from Production Team.
- Compiling change proposal register.
- Prepare & submission of change proposal to Client for approval.
- Reconcile with Client on the change proposals submitted.
- Quantity measurement of the following trades:
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree / Higher Diploma in science, engineering or any technical discipline.
- Experience in structural fabrication and construction works for large construction projects.
- Experience in the quantification and valuation of works for claims is essential, together with sound knowledge of commercial processes such as contracts, subcontracting, tendering and procurement.
- Able to work independently with initiative and drive for continuous improvement.
- Able to communicate effectively with clients and internally within organization.
- Proactive in identifying changes in work scope and quantity for prompt capturing and notification of claims against client.
